The Antigo seventh grade football team moved to 2-0 on the season Tuesday, coming home from Eagle River with a 32-24 victory over Northland Pines.

The Robins' offensive line of Ethan Tews, Gordon Lucht, Luke Bastle, Eli Robrecht and Nick Bostwick paved the way for a high-powered ground attack.

Mike Hagerty led the team in rushing with 252 yards, three touchdowns and a pair of two-point conversions. Hagerty's big night was highlighted by a 46-yard touchdown scamper to put the Robins on the board.

Quarterback Colton Thomae added 35 yards on the ground, a touchdown and two two-point conversion runs.

Also contributing to Antigo's 344-yard rushing total was Wyatt Washatko, Jason Arrowood, Dylan Matuszewski, Gunnar Roth and Mitch Meyer.

On defense, Ethan Roberts recorded the Robins' first interception of the season to thwart a Northland Pines drive, while kicker Zander Martinez delivered a special teams highlight by recovering a kick that bounced off a member of the Eagles' return team.

Next up for the seventh grade team is a matchup with Minocqua/Hazelhurst/Lake Tomahawk (MHLT) on Tuesday, scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff at Schofield Stadium.
