space
The Antigo school board continued its work on filling administrative positions for the 2018-19 school year Tuesday.

Following a closed session, the board unanimously selected Clint Rogers as the next principal of Antigo High School, effective July 1. He will replace Tom Zamzow, who has been reassigned to help lead the elementary consolidation and improvement efforts at the elementary level.

The Antigo board of education is pleased to welcome Mr. Rogers to the district, Board President Mike Boldig said. He brings a strong background in key initiatives underway in Antigo, including literacy, CPM math, STEAM, non-violent crisis intervention, and social justice.

The announcement came following completed contract negotiations with the candidate and official board approval of the hire.

Rogers is currently the principal for Alexander Middle School in the School District of Nekoosa where he has served for two years. Prior to this post, he was a dean of students for the middle school and at Nekoosa Academy High School. His experience also includes elementary principal and teacher in Wausau and elementary teacher in Wisconsin Rapids.

He holds a master’s in public administration degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a bachelor of science in elementary education from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
