'Elvis,' his family are major draw for park music program|
|There was a huge crowd on hand for the Music in the Park program Monday evening in Antigo.|
They watched and listened as Matt Hayek, looking like a very healthy and slim Elvis Presley, performed the music of the King of Rock and Roll. He was joined on the City Park bandstand by his children to share a variety of tunes, all of them well done.
To go along with the Elvis tribute were barbecue and hot dog plates and plenty of pies from the baking specialists from St. Wencel Catholic Church in Neva.
It was one of the warmest nights for summer at the park concert offering a reminder that there is only a little more than a month before the delightful evenings pass for 2014.
There will be no show because of the fair Thursday, but it gets rolling again on Monday.
