Daniel Ison belted a grand slam to highlight an impressive 16-run third inning Monday as the Antigo 11-12-year-old Little League All Star team crushed Rroche-A-Cri 19-0 in first round action of District 5 tournament play.

With the win, Antigo will host Wausau National, a 12-2 winner over Lakeland, beginning at 6 p.m. tonight.

Lakeland and Rroche-A-Cri will play starting at 4 p.m.

Antigo got up early, tallying a quick three runs in the first inning after a two-out single by Brady Renfro and a couple of errors brought up Elliot Orgeman who drove in two runs with a single.

Combined, Antigo collected nine hits including a double and two singles by Nevin Cornelius. Ison added a single to his grand slam while Orgeman had two singles. Fritsch cracked a double while Brady Renfro and Brett Farmer both added singles.
