Nick Arrowood earns Athlete of the Week honors
space
Antigo High School athletic director Matt Meronk unveiled the final Athlete of the Week for the winter sports season, with Nick Arrowood earning the honor.

Serving as the anchor for the boys varsity bowling team, the junior was described as an “all-around great kid,” by coach Trevor McCarthy.

“At the state tournament Nick did a wonderful job playing a key part in the finish we had and all that we accomplished throughout the season,” McCarthy said.

Averaging a 96 percent fill rate throughout the playoffs for the school, Arrowood has already accomplished so much in his bowling career. At only 17 he has already amassed three 300 games.

Part of the expectations for an athlete to be considered is their ability to follow the sports athletic code, have all passing grades, attend classes on time and follow the school’s rules.
