Along with the win, Edge’s Katie Detert broke the record of career goals with 35 total for the season thus far, beating out former Edge player Nikki Kloes’s 31 goals.

“Detert had a great game and worked really hard. She did very well,” Antigo co-coach Corie Bottemiller said.

“I’m very excited she (Detert) broke the record, it’s a great deal. I’m very proud of her,” Rhinelander co-coach Jon Forster said.

Ending the period with an advantage of 4-1.

“We had really solid defense today. I’m very proud of them, they worked hard,” Bottemiller added.
