Dave Steger Jr. continues perfection with 19th 300 game Nov. 25, 2009 Perfection seems to come in pairs for Dave Steger Jr. as he rolled his second 300 game in-a-row Tuesday in the Elks and Friends League at North Star Lanes, the 19th of his lifetime. Steger Jr. finished with the night’s best series, 775 with games of 248 and 227 in addition to the 300.
Three other bowlers already accustomed to earning honor roll accolades hurled 700 once again— Nate Jorgensen at 729, Phil Hartman at 725 and Dennis Dziamarski at 717.
Jorgensen produced marks of 266, 225 and 238 to earn his score while Hartman chalked a 245, 257 and 223. Dziamarski rounded out the pack with games of 245, 245 and 217.
600 Pack
Joe Guithues stepped to the top of the 600 series bowlers with his solid 696 triple. The mark featured a high 266 game.
Brian Mattmiller posted a 279 in his three game 675 while Dick Kemmer tallied a 670 with the help of a 279 single.
Other high rollers were Todd Hendrickson, 665 with 256; Mitch Ciezki, 657 with 266; Steve Suick, 653 with 264; Ron Wolf, 653 with 244; Justin Berg, 648 with 231; Dale Koppek, 635 with 228; Tom Kubeny, 635 with 225; Chris Berg, 632 with 244; Chip Dallen, 630 with 226; John Stocks, 621 with 221; Russ Wolff, 610 with 205; Al Wissbroecker, 609 with 247; and Dave Steger Sr., 605 with 246.
