Pirates county league team falls to Muskies July 15, 2009 The Pelican Lake Muskies team posted an 11-2 victory when they hosted the White Lake Pirates Wednesday in Junior County A League baseball.
The Muskies pitchers Kevin Jacobson and Seamus Roff limited the Pirates to five hits, walking two while fanning four.
Taking the mound for White Lake was Kris Gallagher and Tanner Exford. The pair allowed 12 hits, issuing six walks and struck out six.
Pelican Lake’s offense was led by Jacobson (triple) and Roff, collecting three hits a piece.
Luke Brendemuehl and Trenton Memomin had two singles, Alec Smith and Halen Guth added singles.
The Pirates collected five singles by Dillon Golihue, Luke Wickersheim, Exford, Elijah Wickersheim and Guy Travis.
