Elcho golf takes fifth at invite April 27, 2009 The Elcho High School golf team traveled north to Green Acres Golf Course in Pembine Thursday placing fifth in a field of seven.
In its second conference appearance of the season, the Hornets paced by Cody Jansen with a 44 and Peter Krosnicki a 45, posted a team score of 190 on the 9-hole par 34 course.
Colton Neimian finished with a 50 followed by Kyle Fischer and Ryan Reynolds finishing identical for the day, both posting a 51.
Cory Ashbeck from Wabeno claimed the meet medal with a two-over-par 36.
Wabeno won the team title with a 162 followed by Laona at 178.
Elcho will compete at Lakewood McCauslin Brook on Tuesday.
