Oct. 10, 2008

Sarah Reimer and Kyle Bereswill were chosen Antigo High School homecoming king and queen today, and will reign over activities this afternoon and evening.

The announcement of the court came at an early afternoon pep rally that also featured skits, announcement of the various spirit week winners and music by the Antigo High School Marching Red Robins.

Joining Reimer and Bereswill on the court are Luke Lundgren and Stephanie Frisch, first attendants; Trevor Fincher and Julianna Rice, second attendants; T.J. Christiansen and Katie Arndt, third attendants; and Justin Cunningham and Megan French, fourth attendants.

Today is Maroon and White/Homecoming Tee-Shirt day, with all students encouraged to dress in the school colors.

The parade starts at 4 p.m. from the St. John Catholic Church parking lot and will proceed west down Fifth Avenue through downtown, ending in the West Elementary parking lot.

At 7 p.m. the Antigo Red Robins will take on the Medford Raiders in a Great Northern Conference clash.

Homecoming will be capped by a student dance after the game until midnight in the commons.
